Getting the right suppliers is what makes a wedding abroad feel effortless. When your venue has an in-house planner, most of this is handled for you — but it helps to know who does what and what to ask.
What is usually included, and what you book
At El Jardín de Teguise the venue, catering, styling, tables and an on-site planner come as one package. You typically choose the photographer, and often the florist, music and hair and make-up, from a shortlist your planner recommends.
The suppliers you will think about
- Photographer / videographer. Book early — good Lanzarote wedding photographers are reserved 12+ months ahead. Ask to see a full gallery, not just highlights.
- Florist. Local, seasonal flowers cope best with the heat and wind.
- Hair and make-up. Book a trial or a video consultation; confirm they travel to the venue.
- Music. Ceremony musician, then a band or DJ for the evening. Check the venue’s sound limits and finish time.
- Cake. Choose a design that survives warm weather.
- Celebrant. For a symbolic ceremony — meet them (in person or video) so the ceremony sounds like you.
- Transport. For you and, if needed, a shuttle for guests.
Questions to ask any supplier
- Are you available on our date, and is a deposit required to hold it?
- Have you worked at our venue before?
- What is your backup if you are ill?
- What exactly is included, and what costs extra?
